AirTran Airways Continues Expansion to Sunny Spots
Low Cost Airline Adds New Nonstop Jet Service between Tampa and Key West and Additional Service to Popular Leisure Destinations
ORLANDO, Fla. – AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced new nonstop service from Tampa to Key West, as well as additional flights to several of its most popular, warm and sunny locations, including Tampa, San Juan, Phoenix and Orlando beginning this winter.
These new flights are in addition to the low-cost carrier's already extensive flight options to some of the most visited cities in the U.S. and the Caribbean. AirTran is adding new Key West service from Tampa in addition to the recently announced nonstop service to San Juan, which begins April 5, 2010.
