Award-winning team: Hillsborough County Aviation Authority named a top workplace in Tampa Bay

It's official: For the sixth year in a row, the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority – which oversees TPA and three smaller airports – was named among the Tampa Bay Times’ Top 100 Workplaces in the Tampa Bay area. TPA placed #21 in the large company category and was the only government agency in that category to make the list. The full list is now online. 

Similar to years past, TPA's placement on this list is based on an annual Employee Engagement Survey feedback. Energage conducted a survey last October and the responses of HCAA employees were compared with those from nearly 36,000 employees at organizations across the Tampa Bay region. Almost 90% of HCAA employees responded to the 2022 survey, which is well above the industry average. In addition, more than 1,700 comments were submitted by employees, who went the extra mile to put time and effort into providing valuable feedback. 

Being named a Top Workplace is an outstanding achievement for the HCAA. Even more, a valuable takeaway is the thoughts, ideas, and concerns that are directly shared from HCAA employees to leadership. The HCAA's five values – Teamwork, Excellence, Community, Vision, and Hospitality – continue to make TPA an outstanding place to work.
