Book your parking at TPA for Christmas week
Making an online reservation is the only way to guarantee a space during what is expected to be an even busier holiday travel period than normal.
If you have travel plans through Tampa International Airport this holiday season, be sure to add one more important item to your to-do list: Pre-booking your parking in one of TPA’s garages.
During the busy week of Christmas, TPA’s garages may fill up during busy travel times and will close if they reach capacity.
The only way to guarantee a parking space will be to book a reservation in advance at TampaAirport.com/Park. It’s safe, easy and always cheaper to book online.
In addition to the normal holiday rush, airlines are significantly increasing the number of available seats on routes to and from TPA this year. In November, TPA experienced a record-breaking number of travelers, including our second-busiest travel day ever with 89,018 people visiting the Airport the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
While that’s great news for the Airport’s guests, it’s going to mean more people looking for parking, and there are only so many spaces available. Pre-booking allows the Airport to manage parking garage traffic to ensure there’s somewhere for travelers when they arrive for their flights.
If you don’t reserve a spot, be sure to get a ride to the Airport.
Being dropped off and picked up will allow you to skip the garages, in case they are full when you arrive. And remember, the award-winning Blue Express Curbside is a great option to avoid the crowds, especially if you don’t need to visit the Ticketing level to check a bag or get a boarding pass.
