Breeze to begin service from TPA to Pittsburgh, Columbus and Charleston, WV, in October

TPA will be getting busier this fall with Breeze Airways announcing they will begin new service to three nonstop destinations starting the first week in October.
Beginning Oct. 4, Breeze will start service from TPA to Charleston, WV; on Oct. 5 the airline will fly to Pittsburgh, Pa.; and service to Columbus, Ohio, will start Oct. 6.
- Charleston will operate Wednesday and Saturday.
- Pittsburgh will operate Thursday, and Sunday.
- Columbus will operate Monday and Friday.
“We’re grateful to Breeze for investing even more at TPA with flights to Pittsburgh, Columbus and our first-ever nonstop service to Charleston, West Virginia," TPA Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications Christopher Minner said. "Breeze is a popular airline in Tampa Bay, flying more than half a million guests who’ve been delighted by their seriously nice experiences.”
Breeze will offer its signature “Nice,” “Nicer,” “Nicest” fare pricing, with introductory fares as low as $59 one way for reservations purchased by July 3 for travel by Jan. 8, 2024.
“Tampa is one of our strongest bases and the first destination we ever served,” Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey said. “Now, two years later, it’s wonderful to now offer 15 nonstop destinations.”
The route to Charleston, WV, will be the first time TPA has had CRW as a nonstop destination. Columbus marks a return of service to CMH, which Breeze operated until last spring. Breeze will be the third airline serving Pittsburgh after Southwest and Spirit, which will resume service to PIT on Nov. 15.
