What’s delicious, fun and could land you a job? Cooks and Cashiers Hiring Night!

More than 50 businesses at Tampa International Airport are looking to hire for restaurant and retail positions.

Tampa International Airport is hosting another opportunity for job seekers looking for a position at a retail shop or restaurant.

Cooks and Cashiers Hiring Night will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Airport’s Main Terminal on Level 3, between the shuttles for Airsides E and F.

The networking-style event is open to the public and will host cooking demonstrations, socializing and on-the-spot employment opportunities at the Airport’s eateries, bars, coffee shops and retailers.

More than 50 local, regional and national brands will be present, offering 150+ job opportunities.

“As TPA continues to expand its retail hours, our vendors have more jobs to fill,” Senior Manager of Concessions Nina Mahoney said. “Hiring events like this offer job seekers a chance to explore as many options as possible in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.”

Potential applicants don’t need previous experience to attend. Many employers offer training, plus competitive pay and potential benefits and referral bonuses.

Registration for Cooks and Cashiers Hiring Night guests is not required. The Airport will validate parking in the Long Term Parking Garage for attendees.
