With five airlines offering nonstop routes to four European destinations from TPA this summer, it’s never been easier to plan adventures and check off the bucket list in your travels. Or go to Panama City in under four hours on Copa Airlines, known for stellar in-flight service, or choose from three different airlines to visit Toronto.

While Tampa International Airport has enjoyed a huge increase in international service over the past eight years, contributing to a more than 140 percent increase in international passengers, there are still many in the Tampa Bay area that aren’t aware that they can choose from both Norwegian and British Airways for nonstop London flights or head to Zurich on Edelweiss Air. Nonstop flights not only offer the convenience of and speed direct connections, but returning to TPA’s international arrivals area to get processed through customs tends to be a breeze compared to larger, busier airports such as Miami or Atlanta.
