What's that in the sky? A bridge!

The SkyCenter bridge and nearby atrium are really starting to take shape!

Crews with Hensel Phelps recently hoisted the bridge into place in three large sections and are now working on the exterior of the structure, including metal roof. The glass-walled bridge will eventually connect the SkyCenter atrium and office building to the SkyConnect station at the Rental Car Center, which in turn provides easy access to the Main Terminal.

Meanwhile, work is moving quickly at the nearby SkyCenter atrium. Glass walls are going up on the west side of the building while crews install precast panels and clad the outdoor terrace canopy.

The atrium is expected to be substantially complete this summer of 2020.
