FRONTIER AIRLINES TO LAUNCH SERVICE TO ELEVEN CITIES FROM TAMPA
Frontier Airlines will launch new low-fare service between Tampa and 11 new cities starting this fall. Frontier will celebrate the new service with fares as low as $44* at flyfrontier.com.
The new cities from Tampa include the following: Buffalo, N.Y.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis; Islip, N.Y.; Kansas City, Mo.; Milwaukee; Minneapolis; Nashville, Tenn.; Providence, R.I. and St. Louis. Frontier will operate these new routes with Airbus A320 family aircraft. Today’s announcement is part of a national announcement where Frontier is bringing low fares to 21 new cities and 85 new routes, which will include 90 percent of the U.S. population.
“With today’s announcement, Frontier now offers our Low Fares Done Right product to 18 great destinations from Tampa,” said Howard Diamond, general counsel, Frontier Airlines. “Customers traveling from Tampa now have a new significantly lower-cost options to reach these great destinations.”
Frontier operates out of Tampa International Airport’s Airside C and the new flights are expected to add to TPA’s growing passenger numbers as the airport undergoes a major expansion and concessions redevelopment.
“Frontier has been a wonderful partner at TPA and we’re thrilled to now be able to offer 18 routes on the airline from Tampa,” said Joe Lopano, Tampa International Airport CEO. “The growth of Frontier service in this market will go a long way toward connecting our community to key cities around the U.S. and bringing more visitors to the Tampa Bay area.”
