Frontline Faces: Officer Ashley Bell
"The passenger volume at TPA has gone down dramatically and it has changed the way we live and breathe – quite literally. What hasn’t changed is how critical our work is to keeping everyone safe. The most important part of my job is going home – and making sure my partners do the same. I’m proud to wear the uniform. Being a police officer is special to me because I’m following my late father’s footsteps. He died in the line of duty in 1998 when I was 14. I wear badge number #122 – the same badge as he did. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to carry on the legacy of my hero."
