Hillsborough County Aviation Authority named a 2024 Top Workplace in Tampa Bay
The Authority, which manages and operates TPA and the county's three public airports, has been named to the list for seven consecutive years.
Add this to the list of TPA accolades: Hillsborough County Aviation Authority was recently named among the Tampa Bay Times’ Top 100 Workplaces in the Tampa Bay area in 2024. The organization – which manages and operates TPA and Peter O. Knight, Tampa Executive and Plant City airports – placed #22 in the large company category and was one of two government agencies in that category to make the list. Read the full list online.
Authority employees were also featured prominently in the Times’ special section coverage of Top Workplaces, located here. The article stated: "Growth in the airport requires more work to keep everything proceeding smoothly. Few people realize that running an airport is like running an entire town, with its own accredited police force, businesses and operations team."
The article also quoted employees, including Airport Operations Manager Noelle Cudzilo, who said, "I love the culture here. It’s a very team-oriented, family-oriented place to work. We’re also very goal-driven, too.”
Like years past, the Authority's placement on the list was based on the organization's annual Employee Experience Survey feedback. Energage conducted the survey last fall and the Authority's responses were compared with those from employees at organizations across the Tampa Bay region. Nearly 600 employees – or 89% of the Authority workforce – responded to the 2023 survey, and those survey insights help the Authority identify opportunities, track progress and enhance workplace culture across all departments.
