More Canada connections! Swoop to launch nonstop service between Tampa and Winnipeg

Flights to the Manitoba capital will begin in November, operating on Thursdays and Sundays.

Just in time for snowbird season, the low-cost Canadian airline Swoop will be offering twice-weekly nonstop flights between Tampa and Winnipeg.

The first flight from YWG to TPA will be Nov. 17 and the service, using Boeing 737-NG 800s, will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. The Thursday flights will depart from Winnipeg at 10 a.m. and arrive in Tampa at 2:38 p.m. Those departing from Tampa will leave at 3:25 p.m. and arrive in Winnipeg at 6:22 p.m. On Thursdays. On Sundays, the flights will leave YWG at 4:40 p.m. and arrive in Tampa at 9:18 p.m., and the flights will depart Tampa at 8:45 p.m. and arrive in Winnipeg at 11:42 p.m.

A quick search of the November flights on Swoop's booking site show fares as low as $200 to $250 round-trip.
