More than 400 jobs available at TPA’s Airport-wide Hiring Day event Sept. 14
Heading into the busy holiday travel season, Tampa International Airport and its tenant partners will host a new Airport-wide Hiring Day event on Sept. 14.
Southwest Airlines, the Transportation Security Administration and FedEx Express are among the 25 businesses currently slated to participate in the event.
Additionally, the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, which operates Tampa International Airport, will be among the shops, restaurants, rental car companies, ground handling services, and other TPA businesses accepting applications. These employers hope to fill about 450 positions to help with the increased passenger traffic that comes with the holidays at TPA.
Some companies will conduct on-site interviews and applicants may be hired on the spot, so job seekers should bring two forms of identification.
TPA’s Airport-wide Hiring Day will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Sept. 14, in the Main Terminal Event Space between the shuttle stations for Airsides E and F.
No RSVP is required to attend the event. Free parking will be available in the Economy Parking Garage; take the SkyConnect train to the Main Terminal for the event.
