New Nonstop Service to TPA & JAX Airports

Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport today announced that Continental Airlines will begin nonstop service to Tampa (TPA) and Jacksonville (JAX), FL, beginning June 1, 2009. Service will begin by operating three days a week in each market. Flights are supported by Grand Casino Biloxi and IP Casino Resort but seats are also available to the general public and on sale now. 

“We are so pleased to once again offer nonstop service into Florida,” said Travis Lott, Jr., Chairman of Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority. “We appreciate the support of Continental Airlines, Grand Casino Biloxi, and IP Casino Resort in bringing back these highly demanded routes and look forward to growing this service.”

Continental will operate Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday into JAX and Monday, Thursday, and Saturday into TPA on a 50-seat ERJ. Departure/Arrival times are as follows:
