Norwegian Air to increase service at TPA

Gone are the days of seeing Big Ben, the Palace and the London Eye only on post cards and in pictures. It’s getting easier and easier to visit London from Tampa International Airport.

Looking for an international getaway this summer?

Getting to Europe from TPA is even easier!

In March, Norwegian Air will increase its London service to three times weekly (up from 2x) for the summer schedule.

Since its launch on Oct. 31, 2018, Norwegian has seen successful growth and holds confidence in the Tampa market.

“In line with our business strategy of moving from growth to profitability we are ensuring that we concentrate on key routes across our network where we see strong demand,” said Matthew Wood, SVP Commercial at Norwegian Air. “These frequency adjustments ensure that our customers can have more choice when choosing their flights to the U.S. at fares that remain affordable to all.”

The airline, which serves London's Gatwick Airport alongside British Airways, has played an important role in TPA's international air service growth, which has jumped more than 185 percent since 2011.

Flights depart on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays. The summer schedule operates March 29 through the end of October. Booking is now available on Norwegian.com.
