NY, NJ, CT and Chicago require 14-day quarantine for Florida travelers

Update as of 7/6/2020: Travelers flying into Chicago from Florida are required to quarantine for a 14-day period. Travelers from Chicago to Florida are not required to self-quarantine. For the latest info, please visit this site.

Travelers headed to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut from Florida will need to self-quarantine for 14 days, according to a new joint travel advisory issued by the governors of the three states.

The advisory goes into effect at midnight on June 24.

Tampa International Airport currently has roughly seven flights per day to the three states, including flights to LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, Atlantic City and Bradley International in Connecticut.

Southwest, Delta, JetBlue, United and Spirit operate flights from Tampa to these three states.

The travel advisory also includes nine states with significant community spread of COVID 19. Other states included in the advisory are: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Washington.
