Tampa Airport employee makes a difference through local aviation association

TPA's General Aviation Senior Manager Marilyn Gauthier is bringing more aviation to the Airport as the Vice President of the Tampa Bay Aviation Association.

The Tampa Bay Aviation Association, founded in 2010, has contributed to our local community and aviation industry through education and networking. While the association offers a great opportunity for businesses and individuals to connect and share their passion for aviation, it also focuses heavily on philanthropy.

“Over my 25 year tenure at Tampa International Airport, I have been fortunate enough to form priceless connections with many people in the industry," said Marilyn Gauthier. "Through TBAA, I'm able to not only foster those connections, but also give back to the Tampa Bay community."

Throughout the 11 years the association has been in operation, they have donated $75,000 to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, and this year’s Safety Day supported the Aerospace Center for Excellence. Most recently, TBAA hosted a holiday celebration on Thursday Dec. 2nd to benefit the Broadway Magic Foundation, raising $2,000 in its honor. Interested in joining the Tampa Bay Aviation Association?
