Three tips to make your trip through TPA stress-free

More and more passengers are returning to the sky and Tampa International Airport is beginning to inch closer to its pre-pandemic travel levels. With more guests, comes the potential for longer wait times. Here are three easy things you can do before your next trip to make it stress-free as possible:

  • Arrive two hours early: The most sure-fire way to make your travel experience a good one is to arrive early. Tampa International Airport and the TSA advice arriving at the Airport at least two hours in advance, allowing ample time to park, navigate security and get settled at the gate. If this is your first time flying since before the pandemic, it may be a good idea to revisit TSA’s guidelines and check out some of the agency’s top travel tips.
  • Wear a mask: Mask wearing while at the Airport – and while flying – is mandatory despite recent changes to the CDC guidelines. This mandate could change in the future, and TPA will keep you up-to-date with the latest guidelines. Click here to see the latest info about flying out of TPA during COVID-19.
  • Online parking: Want the cheapest Airport parking rates and a touchless transaction? Guests can now book TPA’s parking online and save!
