Tampa International Airport was a high-fashion stop all its own for Fashion Week Tampa Bay’s Destination: Style event on Sept. 24.

With speaker panels and Q&A sessions for audience members looking to break into the industry, highlights at the invitation-only event included tips on self-promotion, being an influencer and building career satisfaction. There was also a lunch and prize raffle.

More than a dozen industry veterans presented at the event, including Robert Roubideaux, the multi-store brand experience manager for Neiman Marcus Group, and TBFW’s 2022 designers: Armeysheia Larry, Elizabeth Carson Racker, Erik Wise, Heidi Richard and Jony Enid.

The Airport’s iconic, 21-foot flamingo sculpture by Matthew Mazzotta, “Home,” served as inspiration for the FWTB designers. Some of their specially created items were being sold for a limited time only at The Shoppes at Bayshore store in the Main Terminal.
