TPA celebrates employees who provide stellar customer service
The I Am TPA program rewards 14 exceptional workers who go above and beyond for the Airport's travelers.
Tampa International Airport officials celebrated several business partner employees for their outstanding customer service and hospitality at the annual “I Am TPA” recognition lunch.
The I Am TPA program is dedicated to honoring workers who consistently go above and beyond to showcase the Airport’s values and exceed expectations to ensure travelers have a memorable experience at TPA’s dining and retail destinations.
General managers and leaders at the Airport’s business partners nominate both frontline and back-of-house employees based on customer feedback and direct observations. Employees who win the award earn prizes like gift cards, lapel pins, recognition on digital signage and more.
For 2023, 14 outstanding team members were recognized for their unwavering dedication and exceptional customer service. Each winner was treated to an outdoor lunch at TPA's Hard Rock Cafe and presented with a trophy.
Kelli Cremeans, who has been a cornerstone of the Airside C Starbucks for more than eight years, said that she loves how busy the Airport can be and that her job gives her the chance to touch people's lives on a daily basis.
“On an average busy day during peak season, we'll see as many as 200 to 400 people an hour at our store,” Kelli said. She said her entire team consistently goes above and beyond to take care of guests, working hard to make sure everyone’s travel experiences at TPA are exceptional.
The exceptional service the I Am TPA award winners provide is key to the guest experience at the Airport, which was recently ranked the #1 Large Airport in Customer Satisfaction by J.D. Power. For more information about TPA’s shops and restaurants, check out Waypointe TPA.
