TPA employees participate in the Great American Clean up
(May 21, 2015) This past Saturday, 30 eager HCAA volunteers participated in the Great American Cleanup organized by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful. The team of Aviation Authority staff and family members was armed with vests, gloves, pick up devices, and trash bags.
During the two-hour cleanup, the volunteers picked up approximately 80 bags of trash and recycling along a half mile of the Courtney Campbell Causeway near the Courtney Campbell Boat Ramp, doing so by foot and by boat. Afterward, the volunteers were invited to participate in the After Trash Beach Bash at Whiskey Joe's for family fun and food. Thank you to everyone who participated this year!
