TPA to host sustainability showcase in celebration of Earth Day

Tampa International Airport’s environmental efforts will once again take center stage during the Airport’s second annual sustainability showcase scheduled for the week of Earth Day. A number of TPA’s airline and regional partners will gather along with local companies and USF to present some of the many ways the Tampa Bay region is working to protect Florida’s environment. 

The event will take place Wednesday, April 24, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Tampa International Airport’s Event Space on Level 3 of the Main Terminal. 

The public is invited to check out TPA’s newly updated 2024 Sustainable Management Plan and meet the Airport’s Sustainability and Resilience Program Director Eric Caplan who will be there to discuss everything from EV chargers to TPA’s participation in the Airport Carbon Accreditation Program. Member’s of TPA’s interior landscaping team will also be on hand to share how they work throughout the year to keep TPA looking fresh and green.
