TPA ranked again among North America’s top airports in 2024 J.D. Power study

Tampa International Airport has once again been named among North America’s top airports, this time No. 2 in the J.D. Power 2024 North America Airport Satisfaction Study released today.

According to the study, which measures passenger satisfaction in seven “core dimensions” of customer experience, TPA scored just two points less than #1-ranked Orange County’s John Wayne Airport. TPA was named No. 1 in both the 2022 and 2023 study rankings.

“With so many airports undergoing wonderful improvements that raise customer expectations and aim to enhance the air travel experience in this country, we’re thrilled to continue delivering the type of excellence that places us among the best,” TPA CEO Joe Lopano said. “We expect that as TPA completes some of our major ongoing projects such as the Red Express Curbs, shuttle replacements and security checkpoint area expansions – not to mention the future Airside D – this Airport will continue to be ranked among the very best in the U.S., if not the world.”
