TPA taking holiday celebrations to new heights this month
Tampa International Airport is going all out for the season, offering free movie nights and adding daily holiday performances in the Main Terminal.
It's the most wonderful time of the year at TPA! We're ringing in this holiday season with new events and some returning traveler favorites. Here are two big holiday celebrations and happenings not to miss this December at America's Favorite Airport.
The Movies at TPA: What better way to enjoy a couple of Christmas classics? In partnership with Muma Children's Hospital at TGH, TPA is proud to offer complimentary showings of two holiday movies for all to enjoy. On December 6, the holiday favorite “The Grinch” will be shown and on December 13 you can catch “Elf” in our Main Terminal Event Space on Level 3 between the shuttles for Airsides E and F. The space will open at 4 p.m. and the movies will begin at 4:30 p.m. TPA will also provide free popcorn for moviegoers, so bring a lawn chair or comfy blanket and enjoy the show! Sights and sounds: Crank up the holly jolly tunes! Each day from December 11 to 24, the sounds of the season will fill the air in the Main Terminal. Carolers? You bet. Bell ringers? Of course. Choruses galore? You got it. If you're flying in or out of TPA during this busy travel season, keep an eye and an ear out for these crowd-pleasing performances.
