Restaurant Week 2018
Tampa Bay Restaurant Week 2018 is almost here and Tampa International Airport’s restaurants, for the first time, will play a starring role in the culinary adventure with special three-course prix fixe menus.
Running from June 14 to June 24, the 10-day event is a chance for foodies to get a taste of some of Tampa Bay’s favorite restaurants. This year, that includes five of TPA’s new options, including: the Café by Mise en Place on Airside F, RumFish Grill on Airside C, Four Green Fields on Airside E and the Main Terminal’s P.F. Chang’s and Hard Rock Cafe.
“This is really an exciting time to show off what the Airport’s new restaurants are all about,” said Nina Mahoney, Senior Manager of Airport Concessions.
The prix fix menu gets you a three course meal for $30 or $45 per couple or person.
Here’s a look at the menus:
THE CAFÉ BY MISE EN PLACE (FOR 1) $30, AIRSIDE F (INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS/ AMERICAN AIRLINES)
MISE MEZZE – Piquillo pepper hummus, heirloom tomato, olive feta salad, za’atar grilled flatbread
PAN SEARED SALMON – Curry green apple vinaigrette, steamed jasmine rice, grilled asparagus and roasted roma tomatoes
CHOCOLATE PECAN TOFFEE MOUSSE – Crème Anglaise and Toffee Sauce
RUMFISH (FOR 1) $45, AIRSIDE C (SOUTHWEST, FRONTIER)
SPICED BLUE CRAB BISQUE – GF sherry, thyme and cream
GROUPER “PICCATA” – GF grilled grouper, jasmine rice, wilted spinach with lemon caper butter
WHITE COSMO TITO’S VODKA – Patrón Citrónge, white cranberry juice and fresh lime juice

SHEPHERD SKINS (1 order to split) – Potato boats filled with shepherd’s pie beef, melted cheddar cheese, green onions and sour cream
FAMOUS FISH N’ CHIPS – Harp beer-battered cod with crispy fries and coleslaw
CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE – Tender corned beef brisket piled on bed of cabbage, carrots and mashed potatoes, side of mustard and Irish soda bread

VEGETARIAN LETTUCE WRAPS – Signature appetizer, wok-seared tofu, mushrooms, green onions and water chestnuts
CHANG’S SPICY CHICKEN – Sweet and spicy chili sauce with tender bite-sized chicken
BANANA SPRING ROLLS –Six warm, crispy bites of banana, caramel-vanilla drizzle, coconut-pineapple ice cream
