As the busy 2024 Spring Break travel period approaches, Tampa International Airport and its tenant partners are hosting a new Airport-wide Hiring Day event on Jan. 18 to help prepare for the increase in passengers.

Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services, the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and TPA Hospitality Partners will be among the shops, restaurants, ground handling services and other TPA businesses accepting applications. The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, which operates Tampa International Airport, will also be there looking for applicants for multiple roles, including a new Website Designer/Developer for TampaAirport.com (find HCAA openings here). In all, these employers hope to fill about 260 positions across the Airport.

Some companies will conduct on-site interviews and applicants may be hired on the spot, so job seekers should bring two forms of identification.

The Spring Break period is the busiest time of year for TPA, with a record number of passengers traveling through the Airport last year.

TPA’s Airport-wide Hiring Day will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Main Terminal Event Space between the shuttle stations for Airsides E and F.

No RSVP is required to attend the event. Free parking will be available in the Economy Parking Garage and participants can take the SkyConnect train to the Main Terminal for the event.
